THE EVENT

The Haslehurst Hike has been running since 1980 as an Incident Night Hike for the Scout section.
​The format and distance have varied slightly over the years as the age ranges of Scouts have changed but in it's current format the route is generally 7 to 8 miles long with around 6 Incident checkpoints along the route.
Senior teams of 4 to 7 Scouts walk unaccompanied whilst the Junior competition was introduced for younger Scouts to take part walking the same route but with a Leader or Young Leader / Explorer Scout

The 2025 Haslehurst Hike took place  on Saturday 18th  / Sunday 19th October.
