the event

The Patrol Hike Challenge started in 1992 to run alongside the Haslehurst Hike and is an annual day incident hike for the Scouts covering between 6 and 8 miles where teams all walk unaccompanied.

The Hike didn't run between 2000 and 2003 but generally occurs on the 2nd Sunday of June each year.
